Project Administration Support​

Amatel, Inc. is a telecommunications engineering and professional services company. We have been providing engineering, implementation, and management services since 1998.

The Project Administration Support will assist the field managers with data entry, tracking and maintenance of database, collecting supporting documentation for completion of project close-out procedures.

  • Entry of data on the Company’s Master Tracker spreadsheet using Excel spreadsheets, and database systems
  • Assist, manage, maintain, and control project structure set-up and data in the Accounting and/or Project Management system 
  • Assist with the building permit application process.
  • Assist with daily administrative duties, including 
  • Work as a member of a team and contribute positively to a spirit of team cooperation

  • Ability to maintain the highest level of ethics, diplomacy, and confidentiality.

Field Technical Construction Manager

Summary: The Field Technical Construction Manager (FTCM) provides technical leadership and management of field construction supervisors and associated personnel in the delivery of telecommunications systems across multiple customer projects and locations. The FTCM is accountable for the successful implementation of all civil and construction work associated with the deployment of telecommunications systems.

The primary responsibilities are to successfully and effectively lead, manage, and supervise field construction supervisors and personnel on multiple telecom customer projects and locations within the Company and client prescribed time frame and in a cost-effective manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Others may be assigned.

1. CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS

  1. Act as the customer’s primary field point of contact for all construction activities in an assigned area.
  2. Develop the project plan, weekly schedules, and daily assignments along with the Amatel assigned Project Manager (PM), Implementation Manager (IM), and the customer.
  3. Ensure that construction personnel are fully utilizing all customer designated implementation tools with a minimum utilization level of 99%.

2. PROJECT AND FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS

  1. Work directly with the assigned PM and client throughout the cycle of a project; starting with project cost estimation through final acceptance and payment.
  2. Develop a budget for each project and ensure project costs are maintained throughout the project's life cycle.
  3. Schedule projects start dates with customer, generate Job Site Manuals, order tools, materials, and test equipment.
  4. Coordinate all pre-construction, construction, and post construction activities with field personnel.
  5. Provide and assist with technical and troubleshooting support
  6. Ensure the Bill of Materials (BOM) and orders are placed in a timely manner.
  7. Ensure all Close Out Packages and associated documentation are tracked and completed as well as submitted per Customer’s requirements to expedite financial accruals.
  8. Personnel in this position may be required to work in the field and assist where necessary when their experience is required, when the work volume is high, or when the company is short staffed.
